Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Closing Processor to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage the final stages of real estate transactions, ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and efficiently processed. Your expertise will help guarantee seamless closings for our clients and uphold the high standards of our company.
Duties
- Review and verify title search reports, legal descriptions, easements, and public records to confirm property details.
- Prepare and process all necessary real estate documentation, including title commitments, closing disclosures, and settlement statements.
- Utilize real estate transaction management software and mapping tools to organize and track closing activities.
- Conduct title review and underwriting guideline adherence to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, real estate agents, attorneys, and other stakeholders to coordinate closing schedules and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform research on title records, legal descriptions, and public records to clarify ownership history and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure all closing procedures align with real estate law, legal descriptions accuracy, and proper documentation review.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for document preparation and communication.
- Experience with real estate law, title processing, and legal descriptions related to property transactions.
- Familiarity with real estate transaction management software, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), mapping software, and title search tools.
- Knowledge of right-of-way issues, easements, title review processes, and underwriting guidelines adherence.
- Strong research skills for analyzing title records, public records, and legal documents.
- Excellent client communication skills coupled with customer service orientation.
- Prior law office or real estate closing management experience is highly preferred.
