Community Thrift in Kennewick, WA is looking for one donation attendant/ material handler to join our 36 person strong team. We are located on 513 North Edison. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged.
We are in need of a donation attendant. This is fast paced position with a variety of responsibilities. You will see a ton of unique items and meet a lot of people.
You will be responsible for
• Driving forklift to stack/unstack product for pricing associates.
• Receiving donations from donors at our donation drop off.
• Sorting donations into various quality categories.
• Dumping garbage, metal, and general clean up of the donation area.
Job requirements
• Drivers license or reliable way to get to work.
• Ability to provide great customer service while still being able to decline items that do not meet our accepted list or quality metrics.
• Ability to lift 10-50 pounds continuously Throughout the day.
• Good work ethic with ability to stay on task.
• Ability to work outside in the elements.
• Forklift experience a plus but not required.
Ideal candidate can work 10 hour days from 8:15am to 7:15pm with an hour lunch.
