Overview
Join our team as a Janitor and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for executing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks that ensure our facilities meet high standards of hygiene and appearance. Monday thru Friday. 7:30 am until 11:30 am. $18.00 per hour. Apply at Community Thrift Store, 5300-2 Rivers Ave North Charleston SC 29406.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a spotless appearance.
- Conduct routine janitorial duties such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restroom sanitation to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, offices, restrooms, and other designated spaces according to established protocols.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial environments is highly preferred.
- Proven skills in general cleaning techniques such as floor care ,window washing, and restroom sanitation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely while working efficiently independently or as part of a team.
