Clinical Manager

We are seeking a Clinical Manager who will be responsible for providing direct supportive service to young adults in the Youth Services and YouthBuild programs, staff development and support, and contributions at the community-engagement and agency-wide level. This person will also contribute training and perspective to support the ability of staff at all levels to respond meaningfully and nimbly to urgent client needs and will facilitate empowerment and engagement of families and their advocates toward achievable rehousing goals as well as promote agency mission integrity.

• 37.5 hour work week but paid for 40 hours. This is a fully ON-SITE (not remote) position

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide guidance and case consultation to staff working with high-need individuals and families
• Coordinate and/or implement supports, intervention, and mediation to individuals and families, including short-term therapeutic supports to clients in need
• Work with Case Managers to develop meaningful services plans which reduce rehousing barriers, and incorporate treatment-informed approaches to support success (e.g., memory aides, preferred communication, emotional safety, etc.)
• Ensure program staff are trained and providing trauma-informed services
• Coordinate external services for CTI programming, e.g. mental health providers, substance abuse providers, state agencies, community agencies, and other referral sources
• Participate in service provider and advocacy coalitions
• Participate in scheduled staff meetings and assist in the clinical review of cases
• Advocate on behalf of participants needs and assist in connecting client to local resources
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external services and collaterals to ensure effective communication and planning
• Assess, adjust and implement the Intake/Admissions process to ensure that trauma-informed and culturally competent practices are performed

Successful candidate will possess:

• Master’s Degree in a Human Services-related field or LICSW is REQUIRED
• 2 years experience working with low income diverse populations
• Knowledge of family systems and dynamics in providing services
• Understanding of case management approaches
• Strong problem solver
• Ability to combine respectful and assertive approaches to helping families and supporting staff
• Excellent Customer Service, organizational, oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of community resources available to low-income individuals and families
• Ability to work some evening shifts
• Excellent attention to detail
• Bi-lingual skills (English/Spanish, English/Khmer, English/Portuguese) preferred
