- Ensure children are in age/weight appropriate child restraint system.
- Assist children with loading and unloading from bus.
- Ensure children are released only to authorized individuals.
- In conjunction with driver, maintain route copy and assist substitute driver.
- Maintain backpack for respective route, medication log, name tags, seating chart, Child Plus forms.
- Engage children with age-appropriate activities, i.e. songs, games, music.
- Along with Bus Driver, maintain cleanliness of equipment and vehicle.
- Follow Transportation policies and procedures as outlined.
- HS or equivalent
- Evidence of MMR
- Ability to pass CORI/DCF background which includes fingerprinting prior to employment.
- 1 year of child monitoring experience preferred
