Job Summary
Community Systems, Inc. - MA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to individuals in their own home. This is a home-share, live-in opportunity. Ideal location would be within the area of the Yarmouth community; this woman is looking for a caregiver with ability to support her within their home.
The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and a strong understanding of the unique needs of clients, including those with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being.

Within the Shared Living model, people with disabilities can be inclusive members of their home and community, while building various skillsets to increase their level of independence. We ensure Shared Living Caregivers have access to 24/7 support, as well as resources for personal and professional development through various training opportunities.
A Shared Living Caregiver's duties involve supporting an individual with daily tasks, fostering a sense of belonging, and promoting independence within a shared living environment. Caregivers provide assistance, as needed, with personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and medication management, while also offering companionship and emotional support. They maintain a welcoming home environment and help individuals build routines and participate in social activities.
Compensation:
You will receive a generous tax-free stipend.
Responsibilities
- Record keeping as required for case management, ISP planning, healthcare, and clinical supports,
- Direct supervision as required for the safety of persons supported,
- Heath care coordination and at-appointment advocacy,
- Fostering important family, friend, and community relationships,
- Providing a safe and comfortable environment,
- Facilitating social/recreational involvement,
- Providing transportation, as needed.
