Community South Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented, organized professional who enjoys problem-solving and helping people. As our Collateral Claims Specialist, you'll play an important role in protecting the credit union's assets while providing exceptional service to our members.

What You'll Do
- Process consumer vehicle titles, lien recordings, and title releases
- Monitor property taxes and collateral documentation for consumer and business loans
- Review insurance coverage and process force-placed insurance requirements
- Assist members with account questions, loan servicing, and payment solutions
- Contact members regarding overdrawn and delinquent accounts to identify resolution options
- Process credit bureau disputes (ACDV/AUD) and account corrections
- Handle Credit Life, Disability, and Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP) claims
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with credit union policies and regulations
- Prepare monthly reports and perform other operational support duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of banking, credit union, lending, collections, loan servicing, or financial services experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
