SUMMARY:
Community Solutions is hiring a Health Education Project Manager to lead and coordinate the development of the LivWell Health Education Curriculum. This program equips behavioral health providers to integrate the 6 pillars of lifestyle medicine into client care and deliver workshops that support recovery and wellness for individuals with severe mental illness.
We seek a candidate with experience in project management, curriculum development, and/or health education, ideally within behavioral health. The role collaborates across departments and external partners, is based in Gilroy, CA with a hybrid schedule, and requires occasional travel.

Education and Experience:
Required:
- Project management experience with strong organizational skills.
- Background in health or behavioral health education, with knowledge of lifestyle medicine.
- Skilled in training development, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong communication, instructional design, and eLearning expertise.
- Experience with program evaluation, reporting, and grant compliance.
- Commitment to health equity, inclusion, and collaborative teamwork.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, public health, or related field.
- 5 years of experience managing health education or behavioral health projects, including curriculum or training program development
- The individual will preferably be bilingual and bicultural.
Special Requirements: Must be able to receive criminal records clearance as required by specific programs, licensing regulations and Community Solutions practices. Position requires an automobile to perform routine job duties.
What You'll Be Doing in the role of Health Education Project Manager: The following are examples of essential job duties for this position. - Proven project management skills, including planning, goal setting, and progress tracking.
- Background in health education, behavioral health, public health, or related fields.
- Expertise in lifestyle medicine principles (nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, social connection, and substance avoidance) applied in behavioral health settings.
- Experience designing and facilitating training for behavioral health professionals or clients with severe mental illness.
- Ability to engage diverse stakeholders and incorporate feedback into curriculum development.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, translating complex health information into accessible, engaging formats.
- Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and eLearning platforms.
- Experience with data collection, evaluation, and outcome reporting.
- Commitment to health equity, cultural humility, and inclusive practices.
- Collaborative team player with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management and presentation tools (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Canva, Zoom, etc.).
- Experience with grant compliance and reporting is preferred.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Working at Community Solutions:
The annual base salary range for this role starts at $70,000. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with the market data. Work Environment, Location, and Length: This position is located at our Headquarters Office in Gilroy, CA and is open to a flexible work schedule, with occasional needs to be able to travel into other offices within Santa Clara County. This position is funded by a two year grant and continuation beyond is dependent upon continued program funding.
