Community Services for Children, Inc. (CSC) is seeking a highly professional individual with strong leadership skills for a rewarding career as the Assistant Director of Family and Community Engagement. The position leads, manages, and develops family and community engagement programs. Responsible to manage family engagement staff and ensure all services complies with applicable standards and regulations. CSC is a large, well-established, high performing organization located in the heart of the Lehigh Valley. A $1,000 monetary incentive will be paid to newly employed Community Services for Children. The $1,000 payout will be paid upon successful completion of probation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead, and implement Family and Community Engagement programs and ensure programs comply with standards and regulations.
- Responsible to evaluate and analyze family engagement programs and systems for quality improvement and meeting program goals.
- Design, implement and evaluate training and development activities for Policy Council members and leaders, including developing the Policy Council’s annual Action Plan.
- Maintain accountability of family engagement outcomes through monitoring of Child Plus and Parent Gauge data systems and monthly reporting.
- Responsible for staff professional development by conducting supervisory conferences, trainings, and annual performance appraisals with the Family Engagement Managers.
- Manage and monitor the organization and the dissemination of information, materials and procedures to support family engagement program outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required in Social Work, Human and Family Development or related human services degree
- Three to five years of demonstrated supervisor/managerial experience require
- Knowledge of human behavior/development and family programs.
- Demonstrated competence in leadership, management, staff development, and supervision.
- Experience developing and conducting training programs
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Valid Driver's license and use of vehicle. Ability to transport children and families in private vehicle. Ability to transport children and families in agency owned vehicles.
