Perform administrative and clerical work in the rental, inspection and record-keeping functions for the multi-family housing operations of the agency. Perform annual re-certifications for tenants and maintain client files for compliance with applicable state & federal regulations. Determine eligibility of applicants for housing and maintain waiting lists. Post monthly rent payments. Handle concerns and/or complaints from tenants and refer complex issues to the Housing Manager. Input work orders into computer and prioritize for maintenance staff. Compile, prepare and maintain a variety of information, data, reports and files on applicants, residents and housing units. Sound judgment is required in performing the tasks. Guides may include a variety of written manuals and instructions as well as established rules and regulations. Provide backup support for receptionist (answering incoming calls). Will work under the direction of the Housing Director.
Must be computer literate. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Must possess a valid NC driver’s license. Graduation from high school or equivalent required. Experience working with the elderly preferred. Work requires independence and self-initiative. Fast paced environment so multi-tasking and organizational skills are a must.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
