Crossroads Family Center has an opening for a Program Director. The team includes mental health clinicians, counselors, case managers, peer specialists, and an administrative support team to help people change their lives for the better.
Hours: This is a salaried, non-exempt position. Mondays and Thursdays, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm; Tuesdays, 9:30 am – 7:00 pm; Wednesdays, 10:30 am – 8:00 pm, Fridays, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Salary: $ to $125,000 per year
Education: Master's degree or Doctoral degree in a mental health-related field, such as Psychology, Social Work or Counseling required
Licensure: Current license or expected to obtain license within 90 days as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or Licensed Psychologist with the California Board of Psychology required

As the Program Director, you will:
Manage and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned program, to include staff management, client care, and quality assurance and control.
- Provide overall management and coordination of all program operations and services.
- Oversee all interviewing/selection, training, and performance management of program employees
- Provide clinical training and guidance
- Provide management and supervision of: service delivery and client care; contract compliance according to County and State regulations; budget monitoring; employees and consultants; staff training and development; and quality control and safety procedures.
- Oversee all admissions to the program and coordinates care with other mental health providers and community resources.
- Serve as a representative and liaison within the community providing outreach and education regarding program services.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
- 2 years of direct work experience in a child, youth and family behavioral health or community-based social services program
- Experience working with children and youth with a Severe Emotional Disturbance
- Experience in a management level position strongly preferred
- Experience with employee management
- Strong clinical skills and an ability to manage high stress and fast-paced environments
- Ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
- A valid California driver's license in good standing, personal vehicle, and proof of insurance are required to fulfill the essential functions of this position
- Ability to pass criminal/background clearance

Our Child, Youth and Family Outpatient Programs (Crossroads Family Center, Douglas Young Youth and Family Services, Mobile Adolescent Services Team, and Nueva Vista Family Services) provide a full continuum of behavioral health services for children, youth, and their caregivers. Services include individual therapy; family and group therapy; psychiatric assessment and medication support services; case management; rehabilitation services; crisis intervention; co-occurring treatment for substance use, social media-related concerns, and Autism Spectrum Disorder; as well as school, field, and home-based services.
Our programs provide accessible, walkin assessment services designed to support children, adolescents, and their caregivers. Our team uses evidencebased, developmentally informed practices to help young people build resilience, strengthen emotional wellbeing, and achieve meaningful goals within the context of their family and community.
