Position Summary
To assist case management staff in providing safety, well-being and permanency for children served by this agency.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining client records and documentation to contract and Community Partnership for Children standards, including: ICPC/Courtesy supervision packets assemble admission packets, placement slips, placement tracking forms, basic service referrals, obtaining documents from Vital Statistics/ Health Department/police departments, taking photographs of children, typing home studies for case managers etc).
- Provide and/or arrange for transportation of children to visits, court, etc. however, FSW's cannot 'place' a child in a new placement or sign admission forms.
- Monitor supervised visits and completes a report of their observations in FSFN.
- Supervise children in absence of case manager.
- Provide appropriate modeling techniques, education and other supportive services delineated in the case plan.
- Participate in weekly unit staff meetings.
- Provide on call support as requested.

- Two years experience working with children and families
- Previous experience working in a social service organization, preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Possess a current Background Clearance Screening Letter as required by DCF; and successfully complete the background screening requirements for Community Partnership for Children.
- If local travel is required, a Valid Florida driver's license and documentation of current automobile insurance, with $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability limit, is required
- Employee will work in an office/clerical environment. The employee will work predominantly seated with recurrent need to walk, stand, and bend from the waist. Occasional light lifting, stooping, and climbing may be required. Occasional local travel.
