Community Partners of Dallas is looking for an experienced Program Director to join our team!
Who We Are: Community Partners of Dallas (CPD) provides what abused and neglected children urgently need today to thrive tomorrow. This is accomplished by working closely with the amazing caseworkers of the Dallas County child welfare system. We are the first step towards healing for approximately 20,000 children annually, and with a small staff of 18 we work collaboratively to deliver 3 on-going Programs, 4 annual Drives and several large fundraising events.
About the Role: The Program Director provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and direct supervision for the Programs team, ensuring the effective delivery of services to Dallas County child welfare staff and the children on their caseloads. The Program Director will supervise a team of Program staff and report to the Vice President of Operations.
Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
Supervision and Leadership – Supervise Programs team staff, providing strategic oversight, support and guidance, while fostering a positive and collaborative environment. Includes participation in day-to-day program delivery and warehouse operations.
Program Oversight and Initiatives – Delivery of the Caseworker Wall of Honor, Resource Fairs, and Graduation support. Serve as point of contact for the on-site After Hours Response units of Child Protective Investigations. Direct the Supervisor/Director Leadership Cohort Programs for CPI/CPS/Empower staff.
Data and Programs Budget Management – Oversight and assistance when needed performing data entry and reporting of Program data to support strategic decision-making and fundraising efforts. Responsible for delivering CPD’s programs on budget, including the distribution of inventory.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 3 years, 5 years preferred, of progressive leadership experience in non-profit program management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Excels at both seeing the big picture and detail-oriented execution.
Must be able to stand for 4 consecutive hours and lift a minimum of 20lbs.
