Community Outreach Advocates is a growing nonprofit Home Health Agency serving families throughout Indiana. We are currently seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dependable retired licensed medical professional to assist us with Home Health Agency licensing, Medicare survey preparation, and clinical compliance oversight.

Most work can be completed remotely with minimal onsite responsibilities. We primarily need a professional who can help guide our agency through licensing readiness and be present during the state survey process.
Position Overview
We are looking for a licensed healthcare professional who can:
- Assist with Indiana Home Health Agency licensing preparation
- Help organize policies, procedures, and clinical files
- Review compliance documentation
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance
- Help prepare for Medicare certification requirements
- Be available onsite during survey inspections
This is a flexible hybrid role with very limited onsite work outside of survey preparation periods.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Flexible hours
- Approximately 5–10 hours weekly
- Hybrid remote/in-office
- Preferred onsite availability Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as needed
- Must be available for survey days
Compensation
- $25–$30 per hour depending on experience and licensure
- Additional compensation available for survey-day participation and special projects
Responsibilities:
Licensing & Survey Readiness
- Assist with Indiana Home Health Agency licensing preparation
- Support Medicare certification readiness
- Help ensure agency compliance with state and federal regulations
- Review and organize:
- Policies & procedures
- Clinical charts
- Personnel files
- Intake packets
- QA/QI documentation
- Compliance records
Clinical Oversight
- Provide guidance regarding patient care documentation standards
- Assist leadership with survey readiness planning
- Conduct mock survey reviews and internal audits
- Ensure operational and clinical processes meet regulatory expectations
Remote Compliance Support
- Participate in weekly virtual meetings
- Assist remotely with:
- Policy review
- Documentation updates
- Compliance recommendations
- Clinical workflow improvements
Onsite Responsibilities
- Occasional office visits in Merrillville, Indiana
- Participate in survey preparation activities
- Be present onsite during the state licensing and/or Medicare survey
