Job Description
Community Outreach Advocates Inc. is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregiver to join our growing team in Salisbury, IN.
As a Caregiver, you will provide one-on-one, in-home support to clients, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. We are looking for someone who is patient, reliable, and passionate about making a positive difference every day.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Personal care and hygiene assistance
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Companionship and emotional support
- Escort clients to appointments or errands when needed
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Report changes in the client's condition to the office
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving experience preferred (professional or personal experience considered)
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance (if transporting clients)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- CNA, HHA, DSP, or PCA experience is a plus
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
- CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred but not required)
