Qualifications:
Perfect candidate is reliable, adaptable, compassionate, attentive, and caring. Past experience as a Direct Support Professional DSP is not required but, is a plus.
Training: No experience required, we offer comprehensive paid training
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Health and Safety of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Assist individuals with reaching their maximum level of independence, and living the best life possible with confidence and happiness.
- Assisting individuals with disabilities in a residential setting with activities, cooking, cleaning, dressing, showering, and toileting needs.
- Documenting daily activities
- Communicating and documenting goals, needs, and incidents to Supervisory team
- Transporting individuals to their daily activities such as doctor’s appointments, jobs, extracurricular, etc.
- Preparing meals that fit in each individual’s dietary plan.
- Encouraging individuals to be active and social within their community.
Requirements:
· High School Diploma/GED
· Must be 18 years of age
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
