What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist/MOA - $15k SOB position at Community Memorial Hospital?
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Explaining the procedure during the X Ray/CT scan to patients
- Responsible for floating to OR cases
- Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images
- Administering contrast IV dyes to enhance imaging
- Examining images to ensure they are usable
- Updating patient medical record
- Cleaning and maintaining X Ray/CT scan equipment
- Keeping inventory of X Ray/CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required
- Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned including checking schedules and organizing patient flow; accompanying patients to exam rooms; assisting patients as needed with walking transfers, collecting specimens, preparing for exam, etc.; collecting patient history; performing screenings per provider guidelines; charting; relaying instructions to patients/families; answering calls, and providing pertinent information.
- Complete clerical responsibilities as assigned that may include sending/receiving patient medical records; obtaining lab/X-ray reports, hospital notes, referral information, etc.; completing forms/requisitions as needed; scheduling appointments; verifying insurance coverage and patient demographics; managing and updating charts to ensure that information is complete and filed appropriately.

Job Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in a radiologic technology program
- CT Certified or Cross Trained in CT Required
- Current ARRT certification
- BLS Certification
- A valid New York State CT license
- Ability to work independently

Pay: $31.83 - $38.62 per hour
