What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) - Urgent Care position at Community Memorial Hospital?
- Conduct patient assessments, including history taking, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses using evidence-based guidelines.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications, ordering laboratory and radiology tests, and referring patients to specialists as appropriate.
- Provide preventive care, patient education, counseling, and lifestyle guidance to support overall health and wellness.
- Discuss potential side effects of medications/treatments with patients and ensure allergy information is current.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical records in compliance with departmental policies and federal/state privacy regulations.
- Adhere to departmental procedures, quality improvement initiatives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Maintain current licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
