ER TECH

• Patient registration
• Obtain consent forms (e-script, rhio, portal and treatments)
• Assists Physicians and Nurses as required
• Placement of patient in room and gowned as needed
• Weigh all patients on the way to the Room
• Clean stretchers after patients leave
• Take vital signs
• Stocking rooms, IV trays, lab supplies, gloves, bathrooms, Oxygen supplies
• Patient Care including Toileting patients, baths, and ambulation
• EKG as Requested by ED Rn or Provider
• Answer telephones and calls bells
• Put together charts and stock forms
• Sitter duty as assigned for suicidal, confused or intoxicated patients
• Order supplies and put them away when they arrive
• Fall Precautions purposeful hourly rounding. Ensuring that the with the Call bell in reach and ask the 4P's Pain, positioning, personal items in reach, do you need to use the rest room , warm enough, need anything, close door and curtain for privacy
• Report all concerns about a patient to the nurse or provider in charge of patient
