WHAT WE NEED:
The Porter role is a full-time, non-exempt position that serves a community in the Pearl District. Parking is not included, but public transportation is easily accessible to the area. The hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. These hours are subject to change based on the needs of our clients.
- A candidate will provide janitorial services in the common areas to include: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sweeping, stainless steel polishing, cleaning restrooms, cleaning garbage/recycling areas, washing windows, leaf blowing, hosing down concrete areas, cleaning stairwells, litter patrol, light bulb changes and other tasks as needed
- Attention to detail
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to include inventory of supply needs
- General computer knowledge to respond to emails, plus ability to work both in a team environment and independently, often communicating with residents, the Board of Directors, and the management team
- Basic math and reading skills for reviewing instructions and mixing cleaning formulas
