Community Lutheran School is seeking a caring, dependable Preschool Teacher’s
Aide to support our 4yearold classroom. We are a small Christian school dedicated to
nurturing young learners in a warm, faithfilled environment. Our mission is providing a Christian environment for a quality education, inspiring students to go forth living Christcentered lives as witnesses of the one true faith in God’s Kingdom.
Responsibilities
- Support the lead teacher with daily instruction, learning centers, and handson
activities. - Assist with classroom setup, materials preparation, and organization.
- Supervise children during class time, recess, transitions, rest time, and special
events. - Provide gentle guidance, positive behavior support, and consistent routines.
- Help children with personal needs (coats, backpacks, bathroom assistance as
appropriate, snack/lunch routines). - Model Christian values and support faithbased activities such as prayer, songs,
and Bible stories. - Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Communicate positively and professionally with staff, students, and families.
Qualifications
- A heart for working with young children and supporting Christian education.
- Warm, patient, dependable, and able to follow teacher direction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a busy preschool environment.
- Experience in early childhood settings preferred but not required.
- Must pass all background checks required for working with children.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, bend, and move quickly between activities.
- Ability to supervise children indoors and outdoors.
