Vocational Case Manager of B.E.S.T.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a caring, organized, and motivated Vocational Case Manager to support individuals in our B.E.S.T. (Building Employment Skills Training) program. In this role, you’ll help participants build job skills, gain confidence, and prepare for competitive employment. You’ll also connect participants with volunteer opportunities in the community and make recommendations based on their progress.

What You’ll Do:

• Help create person-centered plans for each participant
• Manage your schedule and caseload to ensure quality services
• Coordinate volunteer sites based on participants’ goals
• Complete monthly reports and maintain program documentation
• Ensure compliance with all funding and accreditation requirements
• Track data for billing and reporting
• Meet monthly billable hour expectations
• Provide transportation when needed
• Stay up to date on all required trainings
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s in social services or related field preferred)
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
• Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills
• Ability to write and document professionally
• Team player with good listening and comprehension skills
• Comfortable using online job search tools and Microsoft Office
• Able to manage multiple caseloads and stay organized
• Valid driver’s license required

Working Conditions:

• Flexible schedule depending on participant and employer needs (may include evenings or weekends)
• Work may take place indoors or outdoors in varying temperatures
• May need to assist participants physically or operate light equipment
• Moderate physical activity (lifting up to 50lbs occasionally)
