Community Interface Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our recruitment and onboarding processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring workflow-from job posting and applicant tracking to candidate screening and onboarding coordination. The efforts of this role will result in getting support to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in leading independent lives!

Community Interface Services is a non-profit organization that has empowered adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1983. Our mission is to provide quality, individualized, community-based support and training in employment, housing, community building, and other related services.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather position requirements, including new roles and replacement needs.
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate list of current job openings and oversee external advertisement.
- Use an applicant tracking system (ATS) to track candidate progress through each stage of the hiring process.
- Review applications for completeness and accuracy before forwarding for further evaluation.
- Schedule candidates for screenings or interviews based on the recommendation of the HR Coordinator.
- Conduct reference checks and document findings.
- Maintain reports, including metrics such as time-to-hire and candidate pipeline status.
