What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respite Provider position at Community Horizons?
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Community Horizons is partnering with a dedicated
family in the Appleton area to find a community support provider for
their four children (ages 611), all of whom are on the autism spectrum
and have unique strengths and support needs. This is an active, hands-on
role, and very rewarding opportunity to make a difference. What You\'ll
Do: Plan and lead fun, safe outings for one child at a time (examples:
local parks, museums, swimming, trampoline parks, etc.) Provide
transportation using your own vehicle (local travel only and mileage
reimbursed @ .70/mile) Offer supervision and gentle support during
outings Use de-escalation skills when needed Support each child in
exploring the community at their own pace Create a calm and encouraging
space for self-expression Schedule & Hours: Saturday/Sunday 4 AM- 5:30
PM Flexible Who We\'re Looking For: Someone who enjoys being active and
outdoors Experience with children or adults with developmental or
behavioral needs (Autism, ADHD, ODD, etc.) Comfortable working 1:1 and
following each child\'s unique routine Calm, dependable, and open to
learning Valid driver\'s license and a reliable vehicle to use for
outings Able to pass a Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check \*\*\*\*\*
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: -Experience working with Autistic
