We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Child Respite Provider to care for a male toddler with special medical needs. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and nurturing, with a strong commitment to supporting both the child and family. This role requires someone proficient in catheter care and G-Tube management with accuracy and sensitivity, as well as someone with experience working with young children. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Child Respite Provider to care for a male toddler with special medical needs. Location: Wausau, WI
Wage: $17.66 per hour
Schedule: up to 5 hours per week – Family prefers evenings: 6pm to 10pm
Responsibilities:
Bathing & dressing for bedtime
Care, companionship, and supervision always
Catheter care: intermittent catheter use, cleaning
G-tube care: feeding and medication administration
Prepare evening meal and/or snack as directed by family
Toileting: Diaper changes
Requirements:
Reliable transportation
Willing to undergo a caregiver background check prior to hire
Family prefers female providers
Prior RN, LPN, or C.N.A. certification preferred, but not required.
