Requirements:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical equipment.
- Support clients with Alzheimer's and dementia care, fostering a supportive environment.
- Maintain cleanliness in the client's living space and assist with meal preparation.
- Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Home Health Aide preferred.
- Proven experience in patient care or caregiving roles.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
- CPR certification is required; additional training in Alzheimer's or dementia care is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work compassionately with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with assisting individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
