Community Healthcare of Texas is currently recruiting for an Intake Coordinator.
POSITION SUMMARYProvide patient admissions through the coordination of referrals and admission team nurses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Receive and verify the validity of patient referrals.
- Coordinate with admission team pertinent information in a timely manner.
- Verify patient insurance.
- Provide admission information to doctor's office, business office, admission nurse.
- Various routine clerical duties and other assignments as needed.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Healthcare intake experience required
- Knowledge of insurance requirements to hospice care
- 1 years of hospice experience, preferred
