Responsibilities

• Greet patients, families, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist with check-in, registration, appointment coordination, and related front-desk processes.
• Collect and verify demographic, insurance, and other required information accurately.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely, helpful, and respectful manner.
• Support patient flow by coordinating with clinical and administrative teams as needed.
• Explain basic procedures, policies, and next steps clearly to patients and visitors.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure information is entered and updated correctly in systems.
• Handle sensitive information with professionalism and in accordance with privacy standards.
• Resolve routine concerns and escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming service environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training preferred.
• Prior experience in customer service, healthcare, hospitality, or a related setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented approach.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computers, scheduling tools, and basic office software.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience with patient registration, scheduling, or front-office operations.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, referrals, or authorization processes.
