CHC is hiring Patient Service Professionals to check in patients as they arrive for their appointments.

Wage range for this role is $16.50-$23/hr.
Patient Service Professional Duties are listed below:
- Registers patients in a timely manner while reviewing the chart for accurate demographic, privacy, UDS information and ensures all required forms are completed.
- Requests payment at point of service.
- Prints daily schedules for department and reviews charts for necessary paperwork, Medicaid eligibility, and patient intake needs.
- Makes appointments only when necessary to support nurses and providers.
- Assists patients in completing required forms.
- Answers incoming calls for the department.
- Collects all paperwork from patients and checks for completeness before giving to Medical Records to be scanned.
- Applies payment to the patient accounts according to procedure.
- Performs “end-of-day” procedures including printing reports and balancing the cash bag. Checks to see that all patients have been cared for and restocks supplies.
PSP Requirements:
- -Strong customer service and data entry skills.
- -Insurance experience, (Medicaid, Medicare, Private Insurances)
- -Experience in a medical/reception office preferred.
