What are the responsibilities and job description for the PAC Float position at Community Health Care Inc?
The PAC Float position is responsible for scheduling, tracking, and obtaining reports for diagnostics and referrals. Abstract chart information based off received documents from outside organizations. Works collaboratively with EHR clerks, referral specialists, chart updates, diagnostics and all medical care teams and providers within the organization as well with outside sources.
Salary range for this role is $16.50-$19.00/hr.
Position specific job duties:
- Coordinates outgoing diagnostic appointments to outside agencies.
- Coordinates referral appointments to referring agencies.
- Maintains current knowledge of insurance and payment requirements for partnering agencies.
- Acts as a resource and contact for outside partnering agencies and internal staff about diagnostic requirements and procedures.
- Tracks diagnostics tests through completion, ensuring reports are obtained for placement in patient chart.
- Tracks referrals through completion, ensuring reports are obtained for placement in patient chart.
Position Requirements:
- Experience/Education: One year of healthcare experience preferred.
