Quality and Operations Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
The Quality and Operations Radiologic Technologist (RT) is responsible for maintaining workflow quality across assigned market centers. This hybrid role includes 32 hours of clinical shifts and 8 hours of administrative time weekly, focusing on site assessments, team development, and operational excellence. The RT collaborates with clinical and operations teams, vendors, and other departments on special projects and administrative duties.
This role also performs diagnostic imaging procedures, supports patient care, and ensures efficient center operations. The RT works closely with providers and medical assistants to deliver high-quality care and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct operational and workflow reviews to support team development.
- Complete site assessments and provide feedback to leadership.
- Train staff on quality control processes and conduct ad-hoc reviews.
- Reconcile lab orders and results across clinical systems.
- Perform x-ray services under provider direction for patients of all ages.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during imaging.
- Register patients, verify insurance, and process co-pays.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals.
- Answer patient questions and maintain communication.
- Support patient rooming and flow coordination.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent x-ray experience
Licenses/Certifications:
- ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification
- Applicable state licensure required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (timing based on hire date)
- Valid state driver’s license
- Must pass MVR background check
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of laboratory and radiology QA/QC procedures
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
