POSITION TITLE: Marketing & Communications Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing & Communications role leads the Foundation’s marketing, communications, and public relations efforts. This position helps advance the Foundation’s mission by increasing community awareness, strengthening donor relationships, and supporting scholarship and grant programs.
This role works closely with the scholarship and development teams to align marketing efforts with donor engagement, scholarship promotion, and fundraising strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing & Communications
Maintain and update the Foundation’s website and digital content
Develop and implement marketing and communication campaigns across print, digital, and social media
Write and distribute press releases and maintain media relationships
Ensure consistent branding across all communications
Create marketing materials to support programs, events, and outreach initiatives
Collaborate with staff to gather content (events, photos, updates, stories)
Scholarship & Donor Engagement
Partner with scholarship and development staff on marketing strategies for scholarships and donor engagement
Promote scholarship opportunities, recipient stories, and donor impact
Support donor stewardship through storytelling and communications
Mailings & Publications
Prepare and manage donor mailing lists and communications
Coordinate and execute mailings and outreach campaigns, including volunteers if needed
Lead development of the annual report, including vendor coordination and production oversight
Collaboration & Leadership
Coordinate with external vendors (designers, printers, media)
Support cross-department marketing needs and ensure messaging consistency
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with marketing, communications, PR, or nonprofit work preferred
Familiarity with website management, social media, and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Understanding of or interest in nonprofit donor engagement and scholarship programs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $40,000.00 per year
