As our Community First Teller, you will:
- Provide exceptional, WOW service to internal and external members
- Receive cash and checks for deposit into members accounts
- Cash checks for members
- Accept loan and credit card payments
- Make transactions between accounts as instructed by members
- Place proper holds on deposited items for uncollected funds following CFCU policy and procedure
- Handle proper disbursement of cashier's checks, money orders, and gift cards
- Identify non-negotiable and fraudulent checks to avoid losses for the member and the credit union
- Accurately balance and close cash drawer at the end of each business day
- Promote, cross-sell, and refer credit union products and services to fulfill member financial needs
- Driveup 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays
- Lobby 8:30 to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 8:30 to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays
- Lobby and the driveup open on Saturdays 8 a.m. until noon
- The schedule for this position encompasses our hours of operation, including a rotating Saturday morning.
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of cash handling experience; previous Teller experience is a plus
- Excellent listening ability and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and web-based software packages
- Passion for providing outstanding service to our members
- The ability to work hard, find solutions, and have fun
