Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Training Facilitation and Delivery: Conduct training sessions using various methodologies, such as classroom training, virtual sessions, webinars, and on-the-job training. Ensure engaging and interactive delivery of content, incorporating adult learning principles and utilizing appropriate instructional techniques.
- Content Development: Collaborate with direct managers, subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to identify training needs, goals, and objectives. Use instructional design methodology to create and update training programs, modules, and materials that align with the identified needs. This may include instructor-led training, e-learning courses, workshops, job aids, and other learning resources. Adapt content to different learning styles and levels of expertise. Incorporate technology-based tools and e-learning platforms to enhance training effectiveness.
- Training Administration: Coordinate logistics for training programs, such as scheduling sessions, securing venues or virtual platforms, managing participant registrations, and utilizing LMS to deliver content. Maintain training records, databases, attendance, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Performance Assessment: Develop and administer evaluations, assessments, and quizzes to measure the effectiveness of training programs and participants' learning outcomes. Analyze feedback and assessment results to identify areas of improvement and modify training content accordingly.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in training methodologies. Evaluate and recommend new training techniques, technologies, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of learning initiatives.
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership and Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Learning and Development Specialist or a similar role is preferred. Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, training delivery and/or previous experience working in the financial industry is desirable.
- Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques. Proficiency in developing and delivering training content using various media and technology platforms. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills. Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools is beneficial.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and employees at all levels of the organization.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple training projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality training programs.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to identify trends, make recommendations and implement solutions.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt training approaches to different audiences, learning styles, and organizational needs. Willingness to embrace change and continuously learn and improve as a training professional.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, sit, bend or move in order to perform all job functions with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs and up to 40 lbs daily in order to perform job print functions. This includes standing on a hard surface for the majority of an eight (8) hour shift. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of travel by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled private office with minimal noise.
