Position Summary
The Commercial Loan Processor is responsible for supporting the commercial lending team by preparing, reviewing, and processing loan documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with loan officers, underwriters, and customers to facilitate a smooth and timely loan process from application through closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Review commercial loan applications for completeness and accuracy
- Collect and verify required documentation (financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, appraisals, etc.)
- Order and track third-party reports (appraisals, title work, environmental reports, flood determinations)
- Ensure all loan documentation complies with internal policies and regulatory guidelines
- Coordinate loan closings, including preparing closing packages and working with attorneys, title companies, and customers
- Monitor loan pipeline and maintain status updates to ensure timely processing
- Communicate with loan officers, customers, and other stakeholders regarding loan status and outstanding items
- Perform post-closing review to ensure proper documentation and file completeness
- Maintain organized and accurate loan files (physical and/or digital)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in loan processing, commercial lending, or banking preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation and terminology
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements is a plus

Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Compensation: $21.00 – $26.00 per hour, depending on experience
