About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,900 students and employs 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Football Coaches to lead and develop our STMA Community Education Football camps.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for training young athletes of varying skill levels, developing effective practice plans, and instilling discipline and teamwork. Key duties include teaching football techniques, preparing athletes for competitions, and ensuring a safe and motivating environment. Strong leadership, communication skills, and a passion for mentoring athletes are essential. Previous coaching experience and a deep understanding of the sport are preferred.
Age ranges: Age ranges will vary by session. Sessions will range from grades 2-5 (youth camp), grades 6-8 (middle school camp), to grades 8-11 (high school camp).
Start dates: June 8th
Schedule: Schedule will vary by camp. Middle school and high school camps will run Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:15-8:00pm, as well as some Monday and Wednesday mornings. Youth camp will run August 3rd-6th from 5:00-6:30pm.
Salary and Benefits:
Head Coach: $25-$27/hour
Assistant Coach: $20-$22/hour
High School Aide: $15.50-$16.50/hour
No benefit eligibility, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience in instructing/coaching.
Head/Assistant Coach: Must be 18 years old and a high school graduate.
High School Student Aide: Must be 16 years old and still in high school.
