About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,900 students and employs 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking dedicated and experienced soccer coaches to lead and develop our STMA Community Education Soccer camps.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for training young athletes of varying skill levels, developing effective practice plans, and instilling discipline and teamwork. Key duties include teaching soccer techniques, preparing athletes for competitions, and ensuring a safe and motivating environment. Strong leadership, communication skills, and a passion for mentoring athletes are essential. Previous coaching experience and a deep understanding of the sport are preferred.
Age ranges: These soccer camps will be for high school boys (grades 8-11).
Start dates: June 15th.
Schedule: Camps will run Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from June 15th through July 31st. Camps will run from 8:00-9:30am. The final day of camp will be July 31st.
Salary and Benefits:
Head Coach: $25-$27/hour
Assistant Coach: $20-$22/hour
No benefit eligibility, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience in instructing/coaching.
Head/Assistant Coach: Must be 18 years old and a high school graduate.
