About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Instructing/coaching students in:

Skill Instruction:
-
Teach fundamental and advanced diving techniques, including approaches, takeoffs, somersaults, twists, and entries.

Break down each dive into phases to help athletes master body positioning, timing, and control.

Progressive Skill Development:
-
Develop individualized training plans that build from basic dives to more complex maneuvers.

Emphasize proper mechanics and fundamentals to support long-term success and safety.

Practice Planning & Structure:

Plan and run engaging, well-organized practices including dryland exercises and water training.

Include warm-ups, technical drills, dive repetitions, and mental visualization sessions.

Start Date: July 29th
Contract: Seasonal
Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday 7 am to 9 am
FTE: 0.10 FTE (4 hours per week)
Salary & Benefits
Starting Rate: $25.00-$27.00 per hour, depending upon your experience with Community Ed
No benefit eligibility, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience in instructing/coaching in swim and dive
