What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Ed Swim School Instructors position at Community Ed?
Do you enjoy working with kids? Teach a life skill to kids (and adults) while having fun as an instructor in our learn-to-swim program! Choose your shifts based on your availability. All training provided, no previous experience necessary. Must be 14 years or older and in high school (or entering high school in the fall).
Positions available year-round as follows:
- School-year: Evening and weekend positions available at Crestview Middle School, Kirkwood High School, Parkway West High School and Rockwood Summit High School
- Summer: Day, evening and weekend positions available at Crestview Middle School, Eureka High School, Kirkwood High School, Parkway West High School and Rockwood Summit High School
Position open to anyone living in the St. Louis area.
Pay: $15/hr
Important application information: You will need to provide three references when applying for this position. If this is your first job and you are a student, you must list at least one teacher/principal as a reference (family members may not be used as a reference). You may also use additional references such as scout leaders, church officials, organizations where you volunteer or families for whom you babysit/pet sit.
