Position Summary
The Home Ownership intern will support targeted outreach efforts for the Garvies Point affordable homeownership project, with a focus on reaching individuals and households up to 100% AMI who may be eligible to apply. The intern would help identify and engage potential referral and outreach channels, including local employers, hospitals, schools, community events, realtors, and lenders, to increase awareness of the opportunity and generate qualified applications.
Project:
The goal would be to strengthen the applicant pipeline, expand community visibility, and support a successful marketing and outreach strategy for the project.
- Researching target audiences
- Developing outreach lists
- Tracking community events and partnership opportunities
- Assisting with outreach materials and help coordinate engagement efforts with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (or recent graduate) with an interest in Business Administration, Marketing or Real Estate and Development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility and desire to work on varying planning projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of working well with others.
- Proactive, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
