Job Title: Lead Advocate – Non-Residential
Hours: 40 Hours per week - Full-Time
Location: Assigned County with Regional Travel
Definition:
The Lead Advocate – Non-Residential is a supervisory role responsible for providing leadership and direct support to non-residential advocacy staff. This position ensures quality service delivery, coordinates day-to-day operations of advocacy staff across counties, and supports compliance with agency standards. This role also supports advocacy services directly, particularly in high-need or overflow situations, and serves as a primary liaison between the advocacy team and agency leadership.
Duties:
1. Supervise non-residential advocates across Craig, Ottawa, and Delaware counties.
2. Schedule and coordinate on-call shifts with staff to ensure 24/7 sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking response is available.
3. Provide direct advocacy support to clients as needed, including crisis intervention, court accompaniment, and service referrals.
4. Lead monthly non-residential advocate meetings to coordinate services and support team communication.
5. Monitor and ensure accurate documentation of services and case files in EmpowerDB.
6. Serve as the lead sexual assault advocate for the agency.
7. Track and oversee training progress for non-residential advocates and communicate training needs to the Director of Client Services.

10. Identify service gaps or challenges and report to the Director of Client Services.
11. Model trauma-informed and survivor-centered service delivery.

Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in advocacy or victim services.
· Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
· Strong communication and documentation skills.
· Understanding of trauma-informed care, DV/SA services, and rural advocacy needs.
Pay: $43,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
