What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional position at Community Connections, Inc.?
Here at Community Connections, we are looking for staff to work with our adult clients who have Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. Our clients live in their own residence and love going out in the community!
This job allows you to live life with your participants; taking them to stores, community events, doctor appointments, to the movies, out bowling, grocery shopping, transporting to and from their job (if applicable), cook together, color, sing, dance, have a lazy day playing video or board games, work on social & daily living skills... and so much more!!
No two days are alike!
Shift Schedule options:
- 42 hrs/wk; Wed 2pm-8pm & Thu/Fri/Sat 8am-8pm @ $2676-2765/month average gross
- 48 hrs/wk; Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat 8am-8pm @ $3121-3188/month average gross
Pay DOE
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Current vehicle insurance
- First Aid and CPR - we can certify you
- Assistance with Medications - we can certify you
- 18 years old
