Duties

- Assist clients with navigating complex systems such as Medicare, Medicaid, and other social services.
- Conduct outreach activities to identify underserved populations and connect them with appropriate resources.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavioral changes and enhance engagement.
- Collect and document data related to client interactions, service utilization, and community needs for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate public speaking engagements and community events to raise awareness about health topics like nutrition and substance abuse prevention.
Requirements
- Prior experience or training in nursing, social work, public health, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or complex health needs.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare systems such as Medicare is preferred.
