Community Concepts is seeking a Maine Families Team Lead. This dual role is designed to enhance family functioning, focusing on increasing parent knowledge, family strengths, problem-solving skills, and family support systems, and also responsible for day-to-day leadership of a family visitor team. This position is 40 hours and frequent, daily travel throughout our coverage area is required and will be based out of the Lewiston Office.
Essential Duties:
- Providing leadership to a team of family visitors, performing usual duties of a supervisor.
- Ensure clients are receiving a high-quality Maine Families experience by carrying a caseload of families and maintaining Maine Families Statewide Standards of Practice and requirements.
- Achieves outcomes based on contract performance-based measures, Parents as Teachers annual performance measures, and federal benchmarks.
- Develop and maintain the appropriate skills and knowledge to perform duties and obtain the necessary/required training to maintain Maine Families Family Visitor Certification and additional licenses and/or certifications.

Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Early Childhood Education, or Related Field Required
- Minimum two year experience of family visiting, as team lead, coach, and/or supervisory experience
- Two years paid experience working with young children (under 6 years old) and families
- Trauma-informed practice knowledge is a plus
Other Requirements: Must maintain professional licensure/certifications; must be well organized; must have working knowledge of early childhood mental health theories and practices; must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be team-oriented with the ability to work independently; must possess practical decision making and problem-solving skills; proficient with Microsoft Office; valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and driver’s insurance required. Pre-employment SBI, DMV, Sex Offender Registries, DHHS, fraud, and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment.
