Duties And Responsibilities

Supports the development, reconciliation, and analysis of payroll and financial data across business systems. This role will focus on ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability between Banner and Workday platforms. Perform other related duties as needed.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, validation, and analysis of payroll earnings and deduction data between Banner and Workday systems.
- Support the comparison of financial data between Workday Finance and Banner Finance.
- Develop specifications for queries, reports, and dashboards to support payroll and finance operations.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Financial System teams to ensure data alignment and integrity across systems.
- Document data definitions and reconciliation processes.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent, currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certificate in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of data analysis concepts, such as working with datasets, identifying patterns, and checking for accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and willingness to learn data validation and reconciliation processes.
- Ability to organize information, follow documentation, and communicate findings clearly.
- Demonstrated proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Internet applications, and database software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience working in a payroll or accounting office
- Coursework or projects involving databases, data analysis, or financial/payroll data.
- Associates or Certificate in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with payroll software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
