What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audio-Visual System Operator position at Community Church of Fontana?
The part-time audio-visual system operator (2-3 hrs/wk) will operate the slide presentations for worship services, manage the audio system and microphones used, and operate the cameras and video switching for live-streaming worship services.
We seek a person with strong communication skills who can collaborate with staff, volunteers, and musicians in a positive way. This person should also have good troubleshooting ability and the ability to remain calm and effective at resolving technical issues quickly under pressure.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- solid working knowledge of and experience with live streaming on platforms like Facebook and YouTube.
- experience working with Google/Microsoft video presentation software.
- experience in a church setting collaborating with staff, musicians, and volunteers.
- experience with video switching and operating camera systems for live presentations.
- a close attention to image and audio quality.
- high school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation:
We are looking for someone on a part-time basis for 2 to 3 hours per week and a pay range of $25 to $35 an hour, based on qualifications and experience.
