Job Description
Community Care Partners is seeking a bilingual English-Spanish Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team. This role plays an important part in shaping a positive employee experience for staff providing services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) throughout New Jersey.
As a bilingual HR Assistant, you will guide employees from onboarding through their day-to-day HR needs, communicating in both English and Spanish to effectively serve our primarily Spanish-speaking workforce. What You'll Do
Onboarding & Employee Support
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, including preparing documentation and tracking pre-employment requirements.
- Partner with Office Coordinators during the onboarding of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) across multiple office locations.
- Serve as an on-site HR point of contact by answering routine HR questions and directing employees to the appropriate resources.
- Communicate with employees in English and Spanish throughout onboarding and employment.
Compliance & Recordkeeping
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and personnel files.
- Track required licenses, certifications, trainings, and compliance deadlines.
- Review onboarding and compliance documentation for accuracy while following established procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
HR Operations
- Prepare employment verification letters, HR forms, and employment-related documentation.
- Assist with recruitment by posting positions, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and tracking applicants.
- Assist with benefits administration, leave administration, Workers' Compensation documentation, and payroll audits as needed.
- Participate in HR projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (required).

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow established processes accurately and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience in human resources, administration, customer service, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred, but not required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Experience with HRIS or payroll systems is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to commute reliably to our Union City and Newark locations.
