Community Care Partners is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to an adult participant in Leonardo, NJ.
As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide hands-on assistance and daily living support while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life. Services are delivered in accordance with the participant's individualized service plan.
Position Details

- Position Type: Part-time
- Rate: $25–$30 per hour
- Schedule: Wednesday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Hours: 24 hours per week
- Language: English

Work Location
The Direct Support Professional will provide one-on-one services in the participant's home and in the community. Support may include daily routines, community activities, social engagement, and other activities based on the participant's individualized service plan.
Essential Duties / Case Specifics
- Provide in-home and community-based support.
- Assist the participant with daily routines and activities.
- Provide support related to the participant's medical needs within the scope of the position and care plan.
- Accompany the participant during appropriate community activities and outings.
- Follow established care protocols and the participant's individualized service plan.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Providing supervision and support based on the participant's individualized needs.
- Assisting with daily living activities and routines.
- Encouraging independence and positive engagement.
- Promoting dignity, respect, inclusion, and personal choice.
- Maintaining professional and accurate documentation.
- Communicating important updates or concerns as required.
Physical Requirements
- Must be capable of reaching, bending, lifting, and performing light physical tasks as needed.
Experience, License, and Certification Requirements
- Must be proficient in English, including reading, writing, and comprehension.
- Medical experience is required.
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Must successfully clear all required State/Federal criminal background checks, the Central Registry, and the CARI database.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Applicants may apply without certification but must obtain it before starting services.
