Clary Sage College is currently accepting applications for a Cosmetology Master Instructor -
Evening hours; Monday-Thursday 12:00 pm to 10:45 pm

- Counsel with students in a professional manner, offering constructive, encouraging, and timely feedback
- Adhere to curriculum expectations, to ensure accreditation standards are met
- Proactively identify and address issues with course content or technology
- Send welcome emails to students on your roster two days before the scheduled start of class
- Respond to written assignments with personalized comments.
- Model the CARES philosophy and core values with courage, teamwork, perseverance, and vision
- Keep current on trends and styles in grooming and fashion
- Must have knowledge in the methods and procedures used in standard record-keeping statistical compilation and
- salon practices
- Perform a variety of instructional assistance, tutoring and related support functions as needed
- Adhere to OSHA standards and maintain compliance
- Always encourage students and keep them positive about the profession of Cosmetology
- Document grades and attendance, post to transcript accordingly, maintain a working knowledge of Canvas
- Prepare students for state boards
- Keep work station organized and clean
- Clean and stock lab and classroom, order supplies when needed
- Responsible for keeping inventory and requesting supplies as needed for laboratory
- Be familiar with the rules and regulations of the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and other accrediting bodies affiliated with Clary Sage College
- Provide students with individualized or small group assistance, guidance and study strategies for the development
- and improvement of basic skills
- Support student retention by reviewing individual completion of learning activities, monitoring attendance and
- contacting students as necessary

- Defines goals and/or required results at the beginning of the performance period
- Communicates regularly with other staff toward defined goals and/or required results
- Self motivated to improve quantity and quality of work performed and participates in training and development opportunities as appropriate
