About the Role:

The Housekeeping Staff position is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role involves thorough cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas, ensuring that all spaces meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall guest experience by providing consistent, detail-oriented service that supports the facility’s reputation for excellence. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying maintenance needs and reporting any issues promptly to management. Ultimately, the Housekeeping Staff plays a vital role in creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive feedback.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and safety guidelines.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights as required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemical products.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and sanitation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer service experience or skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing rooms and common areas.
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels in guest rooms or designated areas.
• Inspect rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness standards are met and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of all housekeeping duties.

Available Shift: AM Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (PRN; minimum of 2 weekend day shifts per month)

Pay Rate: $18.75/hour
